Wrinkles form when the skin loses its elasticity. Some wrinking of the skin is due to aging, but other causes are diet, stress, lifestyle, skin care habits and habitual facial expressions.

Resurfacing your skin with one of several techniques, such as a chemical peel, radiofrequency ablation or dermabrasion, may be the answer. Laser resurfacing â€" popular option in the family of ablative (wounding) skin resurfacing techniques â€" removes the aged or sun-damaged skin to allow younger looking skin to grow in its place.

Treatments for facial wrinkles are usually performed in the office setting which is convenient, private, and safe for persons who desire therapy. Your health, in conjunction with the appropriate therapy to achieve your goals, is given full consideration by your Facial Plastic Surgeon prior to the any decision to undertake specific treatment. However, very few individual health problems would limit the use of these therapies due to their minimally-invasive methods of application. Your concerns and any medical requirements for each facial wrinkle therapy will be part of the consultation with your surgeon.

Hyaluronic acid has become acceptedâ€"and even preferredâ€"for use in wrinkle treatment. However, some people have allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid products synthesized from bovine or avian tissue. Juvéderm is made of biosynthesized, non-animal hyaluronic acid, so it is free of allergens that may cause adverse reactions in some patients. Juvéderm® offers the same cosmetic benefits provided by animal-based hyaluronic acid skin fillers, but without the risk of allergic reaction. Juvéderm comes in several concentrations for treatment of different types of wrinkles and creases.

Treatment with this medicine may cause your body to form antibodies that may make future treatments less effective. You should receive the lowest effective dose, with at least 3 months between shots. Injections in the muscles close to the eyes may cause you to blink less. This may harm your eyes. Your health care provider may prescribe eye drops, ointment, soft contact lenses, or an eye patch to protect your eyes until the medicine has worn off enough for you to be able to blink normally again. About 30 minutes before you go out in the sun, apply a sunscreen with a sun-protection factor (SPF) of at least 15. If you have a fair complexion or sun-sensitive skin, you may need a higher SPF, such as 30 or even 45, especially in a southern climate or at a high altitude. Remember that water, sand, snow, and concrete reflect the sun's rays and increase the likelihood of sunburn. Rub plenty of sunscreen on all exposed skin, paying special attention to the back of the neck, ears, nose, and shoulders.

Add a few drops of essential oil to a carrier oil, or fragrance and lanolin free skin cream or lotion and massage into the skin. In addition to use in prevention of wrinkles, Botox has been used to treat uncontrolled eye twitching, crossed eyes, muscle spasms and, most recently, excessive underarm sweating.

Fat may be harvested from certain areas of your body, often the lower abdomen, through liposuction and then placed in a syringe and injected through small incisions into the cheek, tear trough, temple or forehead. Like bovine collagen, the effects are unpredictable and may be temporary. Your surgeon may choose to over-inject fat to extend the results of the procedure. The care taken when fat is harvested, filtered, prepared and injected is crucial and helps yield more lasting results.

Of all the joys a new mother has, the biggest is holding that brand new bundle of joy for the very first time. In an instant, we fall wholeheartedly, unconditionally in love.

There's just something so indescribable about the look on a new baby's face, the touch of their tiny hands and the warm, cuddling embrace. Before we even have a chance to take a deep breath, they own us entirely, forever and always.

Then, of course, panic sets in!

We moms worry about everything! From selecting correct toys to trying to decide if their rooms are decorated just right. If it has to do with our new bundles of joy, it's an issue that's worth fretting over.

There are just too many things to think of.

When it comes to baby sleep wear, there are some excellent suggestions to help make sure you get it right.

Selecting the best sleep wear is not rocket science. But it is serious business which can cost you a lot of money and valuable sleep if you get it wrong.

Great big blankets, hot, fuzzy sleepers and other overpowering sleep wear generally is not the way to go.

In fact, the American SIDs Institute offers some very simple advice. That organization says basic, comfortable baby sleep wear that doesn't overheat is generally the best route to take.

When coupled with a room that is kept at a comfortable temperature your little bundle of joy should sleep like a lamb.

So, what exactly does this mean?

It means applying a little old fashion commonsense to the selection of sleep wear. Some basic ideas to consider include:

* Swaddle blankets. There are some fantastic wearable sleep blankets that are ideal for newborns that like a snug feel. They are especially great in cooler climates or when indoor temperatures are kept a little low for adults' comfort.

The Halo Sleep Sack is an example of these. The beauty of this particular option is that it replaces the need for often dangerous loose-fitting blankets. When coupled with a one-piece sleeper, these safer blankets are often ideal.

* Basic sleepers. Footed sleepers and even Onsie-type body suits are quite often ideal for cooler and warmer temperatures, respectively. Just make sure the materials selected breathe and are not too snug or too loose fitting.

* Nightgowns. While these are always popular, nightgowns can be a pain in the neck for wiggly newborns and older infants. If she likes to scoot around, they can bunch up and cause some problems. Use your best judgment here.

* Thickness, buttons and other concerns. Make sure baby sleep wear is not too thick and hot. Also check for any pieces that might come off an cause choking hazards. Buttons are cute, but unless they are very, very big, they probably do not belong on your sleep wear.

* Materials. The fabrics involved in creating baby sleep wear are worth worrying about. Make sure they are non-flammable or at least flame retardant. Even the best-selected wardrobe of baby clothes can turn out a mistake if the wrong materials go into their creation.

We moms are worriers and rightfully so. When it comes to selecting the right clothes, fortunately there are ways to put some of the concerns to rest.

Apply a little common sense, read the labels and try to relax. This is one area where getting it right isn't that difficult.

Hair is an important part of your appearance. Many of us have perfect shiny, bouncy hair but just because we do not take good care of them we now encounter suggestions from every person we meet. Your hair needs Vitamin E for shine and you can get this much needed vitamin by incorporating brown rice, nuts, wheat germ and leafy green vegetables into your diet. Different hair textures need different ingredients to make it shiny. Healthy, shiny hair enhances the beauty of a person. Rinse your hair with cold water to enhance the shine of your locks. Rinsing with cold water will close & smoothen the cuticle making it look shiny. Two ways to close and smoothen the cuticle after shampoo a 1 gallon of distilled water add 1tbls of vinegar. b. Apply acidic conditioners after rinse.

The color will add little shade to the hair shaft that would make your hair shine when light falls on it. The simplest way to have shiny hair - deep conditions them. Vitamin E is essential for your hair. Include brown rice, nuts, wheat germ and leafy green vegetables in your diet. In a bowl mash avocado, one tbls of olive oil and a tsp of baking powder. Mix well and apply it on your hair. Rinse it after 15 minutes. Vitamin E for shine and you can get this much needed vitamin by incorporating brown rice, nuts, wheat germ and leafy green vegetables into your diet. For blonde hair use a few tablespoons of lemon juice to your rinse water. This will make your hair shiny. After shampooing, pour the mixture through your hair, but do not rinse. Dry as normal.

Shiny Hair Tips

1. Use heat-activated shampoo

2. Deep condition at least weekly

3. Don't use a lot of styling products as they can dull the hair by coating it.

4. Use Strawberry hair mask: mash eight strawberries with one-tablespoon mayonnaise.

5. For blonde hair use a few tablespoons of lemon juice to your rinse water.

6. Don't use too many styling products that can dull the hair by coating it.

7. Vitamin E is essential for your hair.
